Clean water, but still a bit murky upstream towards the Nkwazi Lake Lodge Jetties.

Fishing Area:
Below Nkwazi Lake Lodge, but be careful of tree stumps in the water, the bay when you pass where the Fish Eagle Safari Boat is moored, Pump Station, the bay as you pass the KZN Wildlife campsites towards the border, Elephant Bay in 3- 6m of water and towards the mountain near the trees in the water. Elephant Bay continues to be the most popular fishing spot as well as the mouth of the main dam.

Average Size:
Tiger Fish caught during the month ranged from 1kg 4kg

Biggest Fish:
4kg was caught on sardine.

Other Conditions:
The Dam level has now stabilised as we enter the winter season.

Total Tiger Fish:
Plenty Tigers were caught this month, with an average of 871 Tiger Fish being caught off the Pongola Game Reserve boats, a great month was had by all!

22 Barbel were also caught while fishing for Tiger Fish using sardines and chicken hearts.
